New PA Review: GamesAfoot.com

It’s great when someone reviews Project Aftermath and actually ‘gets’ it. Well that’s precisely what Uhfgood did recently on his game review blog. See the post here. Thanks for the kind words Uhfgood!

We love a review with some quotable copy and the guys at Gaming Nexus have given us reason to smile today!

“Project Aftermath is a prime example of why more attention needs to be paid to the indie companies”

Cheers for that one and of course, we couldn’t agree with you more :-)

And another from TotalPCGaming. Another 8/10. Keep em coming :)

When booting up Project Aftermath, you’d be forgiven for thinking it wasn’t an indie effort. The visuals, sound effects, dialogue and cut-scenes are polished to professional standards, and the game itself is no slouch either.

New PA Review: Bytten.com

December 12th, 2008 by Lee
Andrew Williams over at Bytten.com has just posted up their review of Project Aftermath, and crikey, what a good review they gave us. 95%, and that was without all the new features and levels. If they had reviewed the new version, perhaps we could have broken the 100% mark :)
Here is an excerpt:

I am always pleased when a game of this quality passes through Bytten’s clutches. They show that an indie game can be as good as, if not better than, anything the big budget games industries can churn out – and they can introduce new ideas along the way. A well-deserved Gold Star for Project Aftermath is duly awarded!

New PA Review: Just Press Play

November 28th, 2008 by mal

Project Aftermath is one game that will not disappoint. For all ye who love RTS, hear me. For all ye who love indie and strategy, hear me. For $19.99, players will receive hours of playtime, engaging graphics, and content updates for no charge. The game is available on Steam, and we highly recommend that you buy it. Those who don’t will be missing out on a sure hit–I cannot wait to see what a sequel looks like.

New PA Review: IndieGameMagazine

A review has just been posted over at IndieGameMagazine: 85%

The fact that I’m comparing a 3 person team’s action RTS to the likes of Starcraft,Warcraft, Command & Conquer, etc. is quite an accomplishment for any Indie Studio.

Project Aftermath is one of the best examples of why independent games are the true soul of PC gaming and worth your time exploring…

Nice! 8.5/10 from this one and an Editor’s Choice Award. Woohoo!

New PA Review: Gamer’s Hub

October 30th, 2008 by Lee

A new review has just been posted, over at Gamer’s Hub. It’s a positive review but the one thing it complains about is the lack of multi-player.

We did intend to do this originally but we don’t want the multi-player to be an afterthought so we’re planning on doing it as a stand-alone product. There’s probably a good year of development with the game modes we have planned.
